Stefana & Reed
Stefana's stationery suite was inspired by Truman Capote's iconic Black and White Ball. The initial Save the Date was a replica of the invitation sent to the 500 guests in 1966.
While the formal invitation was shaped like a swan, referencing a circle of female friends whom Capote affectionately called his 'swans, velvet bows were added and sent to all of the guests. Tiny hand-calligraphed escort cards, in the same shape, were positioned delicately on the escort card table for guests to find their seats for dinner, where they were presented with a hand-illustrated bow menu.
The following day's pool party invite referenced the bride's Pucci print —the dress code for poolside glam and gossip was requested by our wonderful bride. I absolutely loved designing this with my friend Stefana and the incredible Alice Wilkes Design team.
